Margie Mary Marin

Margie Mary Marin April 26, 1935 - May 17, 2025 Margie Mary Marin was born to Federico & Simona Fevinger in Fresno, CA on April 26, 1935. Surrounded by family she peacefully passed, at the age of 90, on May 17, 2025. She was raised in Lindsay, CA with her siblings, Celes, Zeke, Mary, Teresa, Annie and Josie. On March 3,1964, she married Ruben Marin. They raised Steven, Michael, Elsa and Adrian. She was a grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Ruben and Margie established a home in Strathmore from 1965-1983 and moved to Dinuba in 1983, living there until her final day. Margie was hardworking and faced life with determination. She was a devoted Catholic who attended Holy Family Church in Kingsburg. Her love for math was beneficial as she worked as the bookkeeper for the family ag business for 40 years until retiring. Throughout the years, she maintained her home and provided care for her grandchildren. Summers were the place to be at Grandma Margie's house. Many fond memories were created on Road 40 in Dinuba. She loved to knit. Thru the years, she knitted many afghan blankets that she gifted to the special people she cherished. In retirement she enjoyed taking short road trips to either the local casinos with friends or family or shopping to stock up her gifting closet. Margie is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Ruben and 1 grandchild. She is survived by her children, Steven Marin, Michael Marin, Elsa Marin-Lara, Adrian Marin, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, her sister, Josie Gonzales and many more nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the Rosary prayed at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 4th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 608 N. Church St, Visalia. Procession will follow to Kingsburg Cemetery, 12782 E. Clarkson, Kingsburg for interment. Serving as pallbearers are Adam Lara, Ruben Marin, Ivan Jalil, Omar Jalil, Nestor Valle and David Gonzales.
