Rex Sheldon Noel

Rex Sheldon Noel, 55 of Kingsburg, California passed away on February 24, 2024. He was born on April 25, 1968, in Fowler, California to Harold Noel and Betty Jones-Noel. Rex was a beloved figure of strength and kindness to those who loved him. Rex's heart overflowed with love for teaching children the intricate art of crafting and understanding the inner workings of the world. His mischievous banter and playful jokes painted the image of a jovial, larger-than-life child at heart. He was just a big ol' kid himself. Though his exterior portrayed toughness, within him resided a gentle, compassionate soul that was always willing to offer the proverbial shirt off his back to those in need. He looked like a tough guy but was sweet, caring, and loving. He was a man of few words, but his actions spoke very loudly. Rex's mere presence exuded a sense of unwavering security, a solid rock on which others could lean. Dedicating a significant portion of his life to hard work since the age of 13, Rex's hands were never idle. A master craftsman, with a love of nature, fishing, and caring for animals, especially his cherished pit bulls - his four-legged companions. With an insatiable curiosity and dexterity for fixing and fabricating, Rex transformed into a wizard of machines, his fingertips unraveling the mysteries of their mechanisms with ease. Among his many passions, his love for the rumble of a Harley Davidson engine and the freedom of the open road on a motorcycle remained unparalleled. Always eager to share in moments of joy and laughter, Rex found solace in the company of his beloved family and friends. A culinary maestro, his prowess behind the grill elevated barbecues into memorable feasts, his salsas and chilis were a culinary symphony of flavor. Family gatherings became the cornerstone of his happiness. Rex attended Kingsburg High School, graduating with the class of 1986. He worked for CFX in Fresno, where his mechanical expertise shone brightly. Rex was proceeded in death by his parents, his brothers Harold "Mike" Noel, Steve Noel, Harley "Wayne" Noel, and his nephew Raymond Noel. Rex is survived by his son, Scott Noel, cherished sister Sheila Noel, brother Stuart Noel, the love of his life Kristy Reardon and her children Cayna, Tatum, & Nolan, his companion/side kick Monster, nieces Sheena Noel, Serina Ulrick, Savanna Ulrick, and Jennifer Noel, nephews Russell Noel and Jimmy Noel, his best friend George Soto. He is also survived by 17 great-nieces & nephews, Bobby, Dallas, Sophia, Sierra, Frankie, Sebastian, Austin, Sally, Houston, Sienna, Janalynn, Juliana, Ethan, Logan, Mason, Londyn, Teagan and great-great niece Lucia, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, March 11th, 2024, at Kingsburg Cemetery, 12782 E. Clarkson Avenue, Kingsburg. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Creighton Chapel.
