Sheri Duff

Sheri Swanson Duff Born Sheryl Lynn Swanson on September 5, 1963 to Bill and Sandra in Kingsburg, Ca. Sheri joined her big brother Mike and later welcomed her little sister Valerie to complete the family. Sheri grew up in the country and attended Kings River Elementary and graduated from Kingsburg High School in 1981. She received her Associates degree from Fresno State University and went on to graduate from 4 C's Business College in Fresno. As a young girl, Sheri competed for the Seawolves- butterfly stroke was her favorite. In high school, Sheri was a worthy advisor of the Valley Star Rainbow Girls, Masonic youth service organization where she learned the value of charity and service. She was gifted with music ability, and it brought her much joy. She played the piano, saxophone, piccolo, and flute and was often in the first chair flute position. She spent many happy hours playing in the KHS band, and later in a 10-piece jazz band and community concert band. Sheri was a creative soul. She often wrote poems for friends and family to mark special occasions. She had a wonderful insight and a way with words. Sheri enjoyed vacations, being in the water, writing and sending time with loved ones. Some of her favorite memories were made on vacations. She enjoyed fun times at Camp Edison in Shaver Lake and riding ATVs on the dunes at Pismo Beach. Sheri worked in the accounting industry for the most of her life, finishing her career as a valuable member of the team at Giannini Packing in Dinuba for many years. In January 1987, Sheri was blessed with a daughter, Amanda Christine, whom she absolutely adored. Amanda was the light of her life, and they shared a very close relationship. In April 2005, her family was blessed with the birth of her grandson, Logan Charles Beveridge, who simply stole his grandma's heart. In October 2011, Sheri married the love of her life, Colin Duff in Las Vegas, NV. The two shared a special bond, toughly enjoying the time spent and the life they built together. Over the past few years, Sheri has valiantly battled many health issues with a positive outlook. Even during the time she was home bound, Sheri reached out to others through her large social media presence. She courageously offered strength and support to her many followers who shared her struggles with Lupus. Many felt a strong connection to Sheri and were helped knowing that she cared about them. Though Sheri's bright smile and loving heart will be greatly missed, there is solace in knowing she is now pain free and at peace. Sheri is survived by her loving husband, Colin Duff, daughter Amanda Williams, grandson Logan Beveridge, her parents Bill and Sandra Swanson, brother Mike Swanson, sister Valerie Thiessen, and a large extended group of family and friends. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Monday, September 12th, 2022 at Salser & Dillard Creighton Chapel, 1588 Lincoln Street, Kingsburg. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 13th, 2022 at Salser & Dillard Creighton Chapel, immediately followed by interment at the Kingsburg Cemetery, 12782 E.
