Steven Lee, Sr.

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Steven Duane Lee, Sr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, who left us on May 8, 2025, at the age of 63. Steve was known by all as a selfless man - someone who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He lived his life with quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and a deep love for his family. He was a man who worked hard, led by example, and taught those around him the value of integrity, compassion, and resilience. He is survived by his loving wife, Kristi Lee, who stood by his side through every season of life. He was a proud and devoted father to his sons, Steven Lee (Melody) and Robbie Lee, and a deeply cherished grandfather to Skyler Lee (Brian Thomas), Shealynn Lee, Tristin Webb, Taylee Webb, and Evan Lee. He also leaves behind a great-grandchild, Weston Thomas, and another baby boy due in October 2025, whom his granddaughter Skyler Lee is joyfully expecting. Though he won't be here to hold him, his spirit will live on in this next generation. He is also survived by his mother, Donna Lee, his father-in-law, Jim Henderson, and mother-in-law, Patty Henderson, and is preceded in death by his father, Joe Lee. He leaves behind his beloved sister, Susan Hamilton (Fred), and his brother, Kevin Lee (Debbie). He was a treasured uncle to Joseph Lee (Careli), Brandon Hamilton (Vanessa), and Lacey Lee. He was a proud great-uncle to Jaxson Lee, Julius Lee, Judah Lee, Cannon Hamilton, and Audrey Ortega. He also leaves behind his dear friend, Mel Ramirez, along with numerous others. Steve touched the lives of many - through his generous heart, his dependable nature, and his ability to show up for others without ever needing recognition. He was the rock of his family and a steady friend to many. Whether you knew him for a lifetime or just a moment, his warmth left an impression that will not be forgotten. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the love he gave so freely, and the strength of the family who carries him forward. He will be missed beyond words and remembered with deep love and gratitude. A celebration of his life will be held on May 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Oak Grove Cemetery and Veterans Memorial located at 19811 Cedar Street, Laton, California 93242.
