September 1, 1940 - July 24, 2020
On Friday July 24, 2020, Carl Edward Kimbley, loving husband and father of four children fell asleep in death at the age of 79, after a long heart-breaking period of physical and mental decline inflicted on him by dementia. Carl was born on September 1, 1940 in Rawlings, Wyoming, to Carl John Kimbley and Ruby Lucille Lane. On February 6, 1959 he married Ramona Lee Wallace. They were married for 61 years and together they raised 4 daughters: Denise, Melanie, Sheila and Stacey. On September 7, 1972 Carl was baptized and dedicated his life to serve as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was a dedicated servant for nearly 48 years. His greatest joy in life was teaching others about Jehovah God and the wonderful promises that Jehovah has given each of us, through His word The Bible. Carl's spirituality was made clear in all of the time and care he took to regularly preach and teach almost all that he came into contact with. He fell asleep in death with complete faith in Jehovah's comforting promise of a resurrection, as written at: Acts 24:15 - "And I have a hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous." Revelation 21:3 & 4 - "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Carl began working at the age of 10 and eventually started his own flooring business, Kimbley's Floor Service. His business was something he loved and took great pride in, as it allowed him to care not only for his family, but also dear friends and those in the congregation and community. His presence became regular in downtown Kingsburg and surrounding cities and his work ethic and integrity became known to many. Carl had three loves in his life- first was his love for fishing, sports and cars; his second love was his wife, family and friends; his third and greatest love was his faith and love for his heavenly father Jehovah. He was known for his helping hand and generosity, his ornery smile and his kind and compassionate spirit. Carl was preceded in death by his father Carl, his mother Ruby (Lucille), his daughter Sheila, his sister Patricia and his uncle (who Carl grew up with and loved as a brother) Harold. Sadly, only two days after Carl's passing, he was followed in death by his sister Carolyn (Sue). He is survived by his wife Ramona, his three daughters Denise, Melanie (Katie) and Stacey and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild...All of whom he adored, doted on and loved unconditionally. He will be sorely missed. The family is so grateful for all who have reached out to express their condolences, love and memories. Also, Ramona would like to thank all that have sent cards, flowers and meals, along with all of the prayers that have been given on her behalf as well as the family. He was our hero! A funeral service will be held, via zoom, through the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, on August 30, 2020 at 1:00pm. Please contact Kimbley's Floor Service for the login id and password. They can be reached by phone at: 559-897-5104 or via email at: [email protected] Last, as a family, we would like to express our deepest empathy and understanding to other families who have and are dealing with the cruel unfairness of losing someone this way... Do not ask me to remember Don't try to make me understand, Let me rest and know you're with me, Kiss my cheek and hold my hand. I'm confused beyond your concept, I am sad and sick and lost. All I know is that I need you To be with me at all cost. Do not lose your patience with me, Do not scold or curse or cry. I can't help the way I'm acting, Can't be different though I try. Just remember that I need you, That the best of me is gone, Please don't fail to stand beside me, Love me 'til my life is done. ~Author Unknown Tributes and condolences may be offered by logging onto www.salseranddillard.com.
