Ramiro Cantu Nov. 15, 1936 - March 6, 2022 Kingsburg, CA Ramiro Cantu, 85, passed away peacefully at his home on March 6, 2022. Ramiro was born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Ramiro was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. Ramiro was raised in the United States as a child. Ramiro worked in agriculture his entire life. He retired as a field supervisor for Sundance Fruit Inc, whom he worked for, for over 30 years. Ramiro's joy was spending time with family. Holidays were major events, since he had 3 daughters and 4 sons who were all married with kids. In addition, Ramiro has eight living siblings. So, gatherings would be filled with food, laughter, story telling and numerous kids. Ramiro was preceded in death by his mother Soledad Cantu and father, Leopoldo Cantu, his brother Cruz Cantu and sister Lydia (Cantu) Salazar. He is survived by his wife Adela Cantu, daughter's and spouses; Lupe (Manuel) Cruz, Nancy (Bruno) Zamora, Gerri (Everrett) Serpa and sons and spouses; Ramiro (Sandy) Cantu, Jr., Henry (Francis) Cantu, Louie (Linda) Cantu and Arthur (Aida) Cantu. Ramiro had nineteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and eight siblings. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wednesday, March 16th, 2022 at Salser & Dillard Creighton Chapel, 1588 Lincoln Street, Kingsburg and the Rosary will begin at 6:00 PM also at Salser & Dillard Creighton Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM Thursday, March 17th, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1275 Smith Street, Kingsburg.
