Ronald Charles Stevens Ronald Charles Stevens, 79, of Kingsburg, CA died peacefully with family by his side on Sunday July 31st, 2022 in Fresno, CA. Ron was born December 12, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA to Richard and Imogene Stevens. Ron graduated from Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, California in 1960. Ron joined the Army after graduating High school and was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he made his way out to California from New Jersey to meet his future wife Donna Conklin. After a short courtship they married November 25th, 1967. Ron started his career in construction working for Donna's father at Conklin Construction and would later be the owner of Conklin & Stevens Construction in Kingsburg. Ron loved to do projects around the house along with planting flowers in the garden. When he wasn't working outside he could be found inside reading one of his many books. You could always count on Ron to have a cup of coffee anytime of the day, it was his favorite. Ron loved to travel with family and friends. In the last numbers of years he was able to travel to Hawaii, Spain, Italy and London. Ron was always ready for the next adventure and always had a positive outlook on life. Ronald is survived by his son Matthew and his wife Caroline, his daughter Megan and her husband Dr. Darrick Wells, His three brothers Gary and his wife Gladys Stevens, Robert Stevens & Darryl Stevens and his wife Cindy, his sister Linda Raby and his six grandchildren Madeline & Morgan Stevens, Mason McGinnis, Makenna, Montana and Maren Wells. Ron will always be remembered for being a loving Father, Papa and great friend. He will forever be in our hearts. We will all miss you dearly DAD! Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 at Salser & Dillard Creighton Chapel, 1588 Lincoln Street, Kingsburg immediately followed by interment at the Kingsburg Cemetery, 12782 E.
