Vera P. Hernandez, 90 of Fresno, California, died on Sunday, January 3, 2021, in Clovis, California. Vera was born to Francisco Padilla and Teresa Cota on March 23, 1930 in Calipateria, California. Vera P. Hernnadez is preceded in death by her husband Joe Hernandez and her daughter Sally Hernandez, she is survived by her children: Irene Hernandez, JoAnn Handy, Fernando Hernandez and Joey Hernandez, 12 grandchildren: Angela, Angel, Lillian, Joseph, Jacob, Erika, Monica, Tanya, Jeremiah, Samantha, Joey Jr. and Mariah and 24 great grand children. Vera lived a long loving life. She was a hard worker who retired from Sunmaid after many years. Vera was a devoted and caring wife, mother grandmother and friend. Vera enjoyed spending family time with her loved ones, watering her plants, crocheting, walking, watching her novelas and most of all thift store shopping. From all of her family and friends, she will be missed dearly. A Rosary will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 20th, 2021 at Salser & Dillard Creighton Chapel, 1588 Lincoln Street, Kingsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, January 20th, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1275 Smith Street, Kingsburg immediately followed by interment at the Kingsburg Cemetery, 12782 E.
