Obituary for Bonnie J. Miller Bonnie J. Miller went to be with her Savior on April 6, 2024. Bonnie shined like the sun at the break of dawn, as He raised her up on angels' wings and welcomed her to her eternal home. Bonnie passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her home. Bonnie was born in Kingsburg, California on April 21, 1936. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Calloway Baker and Mattie Baker, her bother J.C. Baker, her husband Lucky Miller, and her son, Richard D. Miller. Bonnie is survived by her daughter Lynda S. Smith of Selma, California, and son, Robert K. Miller of Kingsburg, California. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Rodger Wood-Miller of Kingsburg, California, and Dustin E. Miller of Hutchinson, Kansas. Bonnie was a devoted mother and grandmother. Bonnie loved & appreciated being able to live in Kingsburg, California and being a part of all the wonderful advantages of small-town life. Bonnie married her love, Lucky Miller, on June 12, 1952. Bonnie loved being able to spend time camping with the family at Hume Lake campground where all the Miller's gathered yearly to come together and spend time catching up with one another, sitting around large campfires laughing and creating memories. Bonnie worked with the United States Department of Agriculture before retiring from there. Previous to that, she managed and operated the farm for many years and the family business, Lucky's Union Oil Service Station in Kingsburg, California. Bonnie's passion was gardening and making sure her family was taken care of. She always took care of her family beyond measure. Bonnie, your family loves you, you will be missed tremendously. Your love and memories will live with us always and forever. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Thursday, April 25th, 2024 at Salser & Dillard Creighton Chapel, 1588 Lincoln Street, Kingsburg. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, April 26th, 2024 at Salser & Dillard Creighton Chapel, 1588 Lincoln Street, Kingsburg immediately followed by interment at the Kingsburg Cemetery.
