Gloria Lydia Vogt

Gloria Lydia Vogt, 68 of Reedley, California went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Gloria was born to Waldon H. and Lydia Johnson on December 30, 1955. Her maternal grandparents were missionaries. Gloria had the privilege to travel on a few mission trips with them. Gloria attended Clay Elementary School where her father and sister, Ruth also attended. She worked on the family farm and also at a gift shop in Kingsburg. Gloria graduated from Kingsburg High School and Reedley College and also attended Fresno Pacific and Fresno State. She married the love of her life, Robert Vogt and they were married for 36 years until Robert was called home. Following her grandparents footsteps, Gloria shared the Gospel message with anyone and everyone she met, that was her greatest mission. She gave tracks, and Bibles and talked with people about accepting the Lord. Her desire was that all of you would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, He's the only way to God and to heaven. Gloria enjoyed painting, sewing, writing poems and loved spending time with her grand niece. Gloria was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and great aunt. She will be greatly missed. Gloria Vogt was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vogt. Her sister, Ruth Ekberg. Her parents, Waldon H. Johnson and Lydia Johnson. Maternal Grandparents, John and Alyde Carlson. Paternal Grandparents, Erick and Caroline Johnson. Aunt Esther Gleichweit and her husband Greg and their son, John Gleichweit. Gloria is survived by her Nephew Brian Ekberg (Dawn Marie), Great Nephew Blaine and Great Niece Racey. Niece Stacy Alon (Ehud), and Great Niece Aviyah. Brother-in-law Mark Ekberg. Sister-in-law Janice Trott (Dwayne) and Nephew Dylan and Niece Shelby and other relatives. Remembrances can be made to: a. Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child b. Gideon's Bibles- c. Colony Covenant Church Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 7th, 2024 at Kingsburg Cemetery, 12782 E. Clarkson Avenue, Kingsburg.
